There are mistakes I regretted making when I started blogging, which affected my blogging career.

I ignored building of email list. 

Building of email list is very essential for blog growth,  but I ignored it from day one. This mistake made me to loose some of my blog visitors and they never came back again.  

I came to realize that email list building is one of the basic things I must engage in as a blogger. I started building my email list with mailchimp.

You have seen that I made the mistake of not building my email list from day one, you have to learn from my mistake, once you start your blog, make sure to start building your email list from day one. 

I ignored sending out email campaign to my email list. 

This is another mistake which I made as a blogger. When I started building my email list, I never cared to send out email campaign to my email list. This made me to loose engagement with my blog visitors.

Never ignore email campaign,  it is the best way to get your blog visitors engaged. I already made the mistake,  but you can now learn from my mistake. Once you start building your email list, make sure to start sending out your email campaign so as to get your blog visitors more engaged. 

I ignored making keyword research 

I have been blogging without a focus keyword for my blog contents. I later realized that using focus keyword for my blog contents will help it to rank higher in search engines. I now started using these 4 keyword research tools

But apart from those 4 keyword research tools,  I also used moz keyword tool to make my keyword research which made it even more profitable.

I never placed my keywords in the right positions

This is another mistake which I made, I never placed my focus keywords in the right positions.

This is the worst mistake I ever made.  I never gave my time for seo. It almost made me to quit blogging,  but thank God for blogger seo traffic pack which helped me on my blogger seo and traffic.

Seo is the key to blogging success,  make sure to focus on seo to be a successful blogger.
